Hi! We're a group of friends from Northern California. We love riding bikes, wrenching on bikes, and generally being outside.
But why did we create Slug Bicycles? We believe bikes are for everyone, regardless of what you ride, how you ride, or when you started riding. We want to bring more people into this kooky two-wheeled culture.
And we're tired of progression at the expense of longevity. At Slug, we believe in round tubes, threaded bottom brackets, cable routing that works, and attention to serviceability.

The Beatnik is for those who seek out the dirt over the tarmac.
Its modern design will leave you feeling confident on the loosest descents and rockiest climbs. You can even follow that ribbon of remote singletrack without hesitation. Or ride it to the park and spend the day reading your favorite book.
